Born in a poor family in slum area of District 4, Nguyen Thanh Nhon, the young manager is the second boy of an underpriviledged household. His father, an ice cream vendor left home because he could not stand poverty longer. Nhon and his elder brother had to enter life very early to support the whole family including a disabled mother and one younger brother.

Nhon was trained basic communicative English at Thang Long school and first placed for work at Spice restaurant on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street where he worked for two years. He was much loved at Spice due to his enthusiasm and hard work. Starting from the position of a server, Nhon always cherishes a dream to reach to a higher post in a Western restaurant. Though very busy with management at Lac Thai restaurant, this successful young lad still spends some little time to improve English and computer science. After years working for food catering service, Nhon affirms that English is the most important tool to gain success in this business. And we strongly believe that a brighter future is going to smile at Nhon.
