COURSE INTRODUCTION DAY - Nov 24 2009

Under the sponsorship of SCC and La Truong Xuan company, TLS organised an Introductory and Advisory meeting for the Hospitality and Flower Arranging courses on November 1st 2009 at 8.30am. In attendance, was Ms Chau and Ms Mai Anh from two 5 star hotels in HCMC, the Park Hyatt and the Caravelle.

Approximately 20 young boys and girls, aged from 17 to 25, came to learn about the above mentioned vocations. Due to the fact that the hospitality field is the most popular and the flower arranging course is only new, questions were raised in regards to this training. Accepting the invitation from TLS and SCC, Tuan, the young Director of La Truong Xuan company, spoke to the attendees and answered their questions about the work of a florist, their income and their job prospects. Tuan's presentation was simple, yet interesting, thanks to slides showing a selection of wedding flowers and floral decorations used for meetings, conference halls and expensive hotel lobbies. At the end of the job introduction, young men met with the advisors prior to taking on any course.

It is hoped, that if recruitment is adequate, the flower arranging course will become the newest training course offered at TLS.
